Riding Simulator

Friday 18th May 2018

Start Time 15:30 and 18:00

Come and meet Esther and SIM, the real life riding simulator.

It is not electronically operated or computer programmed like some simulators, but it is astonishingly effective in its simplicity. It is the only one in the UK so it is quite unique! and is designed to follow the movement and after that the movement is only maintained if the rider can adapt and absorb, and that is the most difficult thing to do.

As riders we like to lock one or more joints to anchor ourselves for the motion of the horse. Doing this we have the ability to follow the horse and we make it harder for the horse to work properly. SIM will show you when you are against the movement, when you are behind the movement or when you are too far forward or sideways, and SIM is not programmed to do it, but the good thing is that he will also immediately respond when you do it right! An eye opener for many that have sat on SIM and they have improved their riding a lot! Their horses are grateful to SIM!
