For Ages 12 to 18 Years
The British Horse Society Horses Explorers programme gives young people the opportunity to achieve awards for Horse Care, Riding and Leadership.
With expert guidance and support, participants will gain hands on experience whilst having opportunities to build skills for life such as planning, teamwork and problem solving.
Horse care awards include Introduction to Horse Care, Knowing your Horse, Caring for your Horse, Handling your Horse and Lunging your Horse. Ridden awards include Introduction to Riding, Riding Fit, Riding Flat and Riding Jump. Leadership awards are also achievable at Broze, Silver, Gold and Platinum level.
There are no time limits or constraints to complete an award so participants can work at their own pace to help them achieve their goals.
