For adults looking to progress and strengthen both their riding and horse care skills, the British Horse Society Challenge Awards are a great way to start.
There are a range of awards at different levels so experience and ability doesn’t matter! Anyone from complete beginners to the more experienced horse owner are welcome to participate in the Challenge Awards. The awards are worked towards on an individual basis, at your own pace, in your own time.
You will receive a certificate of achievement upon completion of an award and upon completion of all four booklets in About the Horse or About the Rider, you will receive a bronze, silver, gold or platinum enamel pin badge.
For those participants wishing to progress to professional qualifications, successful completion of the Challenge Awards at Silver level will enable direct entry to the British Horse Society Stage 2 Care, Ride and Lunge.
